About Shakti

Hello all and welcome to Shakti.

Shakti is a non-profit community for the women by the women.

The goal of Shakti is to inspire, support, and motivate each other.

Women empowerment is very close to my heart.

In my own journey of moving to the US, going back to school at a later age, getting my master's in counseling and starting my own business, I realized how much potential each of us has.

I believe that we are not aware of the power we hold. We have influence over the next generation; the future citizens of the world. We can shape and create caring and kind communities which are much needed in today's chaotic world.

We do not talk about everyday wins and things that make us proud. We underestimate and underrate ourselves. Some of it is related to our upbringing, cultural, and societal norms. Some are boundaries that we create for ourselves. We need to take pride in our achievements, no matter how small they are because that will not only motivate you to move forward but also it would inspire multiple other people to do the same.

We support and celebrate each other to grow together.

Shakti is a platform for women to come together and share their experiences related to their struggles, their achievements, their strengths, and their talents. Join in to take pride in yourself and the achievements of other women. Join in to shape the future where each person is respected and every woman has equal opportunity to prosper.
